No, I think you may have panic disorder, or Obsessive-Compulsive disorder, but not bipolar disorder. Bipolar disorder involves manic episodes and depressive episodes.
    Good luck,

It doesn’t sound like Bipolar, as bipolar is a disorder made up of mania (extreme highs – on top of the world, unable to sleep and having grandiose ideas, that sort of thing) and/or depression (extreme lows). However it definately does sound like you have an anxiety disorder and/or depression, often these two go hand in hand. You don’t have to be treated with meds, some people find that therapy or alternative medicine can really help. I think the best advice would be to seek help from a medical professional, as they will be able to point out all the options for you. Don’t be afraid or embarrased – there is help available out there, and you don’t have to go on living your life like this.

Well i’m not much of a genius on this, but I did find a useful source of information about Bipolar Disorder. If you are really scared of this, You should visit a doctor. No matter what phobias you have, your doctor will choose what is best for you. Just think, what is the worst thing that can happen? No much. Your doctor is there to help. Ask him/her. Hope you get better!

Warning: I’m no expert, so what I say could very well be a bunch of bull, but you might have obsessive compulsive disorder. If you obsess about things (such as heart disease and strokes). And worry constantly about the side effects of meds. I would really ask my doctor about OCD, it’s very common and the meds the doctors give you to help deal with the disorder shouldn’t have serios side-effects. Look up info on Paxil, it’s what my cousin takes, you can find out for yourself. Good luck with everything, hope you can get help with whatever your going through.
